What is happening?
The UK’s PSTN (Public Switch Telephone Network) is being switched off in 2025. This means the landline of any home or business phone that operates on the old analogue phone network will be switched off. This affects traditional landlines, as well as anything else relying on copper lines such as FTTC and ADSL broadband, alarms, door entry systems, card machines, and EPOS.
